BLACC is a non-profit organisation offering a training program for women entrepreneurs. During a 6 months course, women are trained in several handicraft and business skills, with the aim of enabling them to set up and successfully manage a handicraft business of their own.

An impression of the project:

At our first meeting, founder and director of BLACC Mrs. Marie Cidosa expressed her sincere interest for introducing computer education at the centre. Computer skills are becoming increasingly important for anyone interested in business. Creating an opportunity for students to familiarize themselves with the basic knowledge and skills will greatly enhance the outcome of the training. It is furthermore expected that student enrollment will benefit from the integration of computer education in the existing training program, especially from women in the Bagamoyo area.

Based on these considerations, Jamani has allocated funds for the purchase of six complete computer systems, together with UPS-facilities.
